  Scholarship Program

The South Jersey Golf Association Scholarship Program is available to any qualified graduating high school senior who has been a member in good standing of his/her golf team and who plans to enroll as a full-time undergraduate student at an accredited college or university within the United States.

The SJGA gives several $500 scholarships annually.  An applicant need not be a member of a country club or golf club.  However, if a member of a golf club, an applicant must be sponsored by an SJGA member.

Congratulations to the
2010 Scholarship Winners!!

Atlantic County:
Heather Petronis (Mainland Regional)

Burlington County:

Matthew Mendell (Burlington Township High School)

Camden County:
Alexander Pacione (Camden Catholic High School)

Cape May:
Brett Murphy (Cape May County Technical High School)

Cumberland County:
Tommy Morris (Cumberland Regional High School)

Gloucester County:

New this year, a scholarship is offered to one winner from each of the counties which are a part of SJGA: Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester, Ocean and Salem (in 2010 we received no applications from students in Salem or Ocean County).

This year, if at all possible, we hope to present these scholarships and certificates at the students' annual “senior awards ceremony.”
