Golfer

As a participating golfer of any of the Member Clubs within the South Jersey Golf Association, you may be eligible to compete in SJGA Golf Tournaments and Inter-Club Matches throughout the golf season.
 

Golf Club

SJGA is authorized by the USGA to offer a course rating and slope service.  This service is free of charge for member clubs. 

Requirements

Individual Golfer

In order to join the South Jersey Golf Association, a golfer must be a member of a South Jersey Golf Association member club or belong to a recognized golf association within a member club.

NEW in 2010: All 2010 membership card information, including applications and membership cards, will be handled by SJGA's Treasurer, Jeanne Leisner.  You will not be able to contact your Club Rep, Club Pro, SJGA Executive Director, or Tournament Director for membership.

You will not be receiving hard copy “membership cards;” you will only receive an e-mail from our treasurer, Jeanne Leisner, which provides you with your 2010 membership number. Please record this for your records.

When entries are received for a tournament, we will immediately verify from our current database that players requesting entry indeed have card numbers. Note that you cannot send an entry without having procured a 2010 membership.

You do not have to provide your card number at any of our tournaments this year; however, you will have to show photo ID. We have registrars who are not familiar with all of our members. Please be sure to have it with you when you sign in.

The 2010 annual membership fee schedule is:                 

(A)   $25.00 for Tournament play, which includes Team Match participation 

(B)   After the cutoff date of 6/1/10 both A and C memberships will cost $30.00 regardless of the type or amount of play.

(C)  $20.00 Team Match Play only if purchased by 6/1/10. Otherwise, with late fee, the cost is $30.00

The only way to become a member of SJGA is to complete the application and mail it together with your check or money order made out to SJGA in the amount you choose from the choices listed above to:

Golf Club

Any Golf Club within Ocean, Burlington, Camden, Atlantic, Gloucester, Salem, Cumberland or Cape May County may apply for membership.

Application forms are available through the SJGA office.
 

Club Without Real Estate

A Golf Club or Group that meets the USGA definition of a Golf Club may be considered for SJGA members.  The club must be located in Ocean, Burlington, Camden, Atlantic, Gloucester, Salem, Cumberland or Cape May County
