About Us

The South Jersey Golf Association provides services to approximately 800 male and female member golfers and fifty-five public, semi-private and private clubs in the eight county southern New Jersey area.

Its mission is to promote amateur golf, encourage friendly competition and to create an awareness of and appreciation for a variety of courses.

Through authorization by the U.S.G.A., the SJGA provides Slope Ratings and Pace of Play Ratings services at no cost to each member club. Raters are trained by the U.S.G.A.

College scholarships are awarded annually to graduating seniors who participated in their high school golf program.

Each year SJGA offers a full schedule of men's, women's and mixed tournaments hosted at member clubs. Participants must be affiliated with a SJGA member club
