SJGA Tournament Point System
a  modified version of the
Knuth Tournament Point System™

1) Any player who places in the best 5 low net scores over the field in a SJGA net tournament, whether that tournament is an individual or partners event, will receive points. 

2) Players may be awarded a gross prize but still place within the best 5 low net scores over the field.  Those players will be awarded points for that net place.

3) Points will accumulate for 3 seasons.

4) Players that accumulates 7 or more points will have their course handicap reduced by 2 strokes for all SJGA tournaments.  Players that accumulate additional points after reaching the 7 point threshold will have their course handicap reduced by 1 stroke for every additional 2 points.
